Getting Started With ChangeMan ZMF Is Painless
We pick up the code in your existing change management system and automatically migrate the code, the dependencies, the change histories and the compile/link options that were used last time the application was built. Because we use the native file system it is easy for you to see exactly what has been migrated. Once migrated, we will run the audit and build processes and we will tell you if there are issues in your system that previous solution failed to find. We automatically reuse your own standard compile JCL (or convert proprietary scripting from other vendors) so you have one less thing to worry about.
Developer Training Is A Snap
We use standard ISPF for editing and standard JCL for compiling and linking. That makes it possible use SDSF (or equivalent) for looking at the compile. Further, we store the load modules and compressed listings in standard libraries your developers already know how to use. We also automatically create the JCL necessary to deploy the application once the developers have finished.
