SBM Designer and Administrator (January 24-26, 2012)

This course will provide the following concepts and skills needed to:

  • Design and develop a process app
  • Deploy a process app
  • Configure the runtime environment
  • Promote a process app to a production environment

Audience
The audience for this course includes those who design, build, deploy, modify, and maintain process apps, as well as manage the runtime environment. You should be generally knowledgeable about business processes, technically adept, but do not need to be a software developer.

Cost: SEK 13.200 per participant.

Schedule Duration: 3 days

Recommended Prerequisites:
Users are expected to have general experience working with PC applications, as well as using Web browsers and the Internet. You should also understand the business processes to be tracked with your process app.

Course Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Design a business process
  • Design a process app
  • Use a process app
  • Navigate the SBM Composer interface
  • Create an application to implement a business process
  • Configure default forms or create custom forms, including rich interface elements
  • Deploy a process app to a run-time environment
  • Configure the runtime environment with SBM System Administrator

Promote a process app to a production environment with SBM Application Administrator.

SBM Advanced Designer (March 28-29, 2012)

This course will provide the following concepts and skills: Concepts and techniques for creating sophisticated process apps with Serena Business Manager.

Audience
The audience for this course includes those who will design advanced process apps and consult with team members on advanced techniques for designing process apps. You should be generally knowledgeable about business processes, technically adept, but do not need to be a programmer.

Cost: SEK 8.800 per participant.

Schedule Duration: 2 days

Recommended Prerequisites:

  • An understanding of the business processes to be implemented.
  • Knowledge of how to create and administer straightforward process apps and orchestrations.
  • These foundational elements are provided by the SBM Designer and Administrator three-day course.

  • Access and install pre-built process apps
  • Use advanced form design capabilities
  • Create custom reports
  • Design process apps with complex workflow process controls
  • Import data into a SBM database
