During the life span of business projects, many individuals will share, review and approve project documents created using Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint.

Until now, people have had to organise, coordinate and approve revisions of such items without the aid of an automated solution, thus making collaboration and traceability a challenge. In turn, difficulty in managing these processes and loss of document updates can negatively impact project schedules, deliverables and resourcing requirements.

During this session we will detail how you can implement process management to control and enforce access to your documentation with reviews and sign-offs if required before document publication.

This removes the need for documentation editors and reviewers to "know" where the current version of the document is. Documents will not be mislaid or have changes accidentally removed. At a project level, mandatory documentation for specific project types can be enforced and both mandatory documents and standard documents can have templates.

Join us for this informative session and discover:

  • The advantages of using a process based system to version control and manage access to project documentation
  • How to enforce the use of mandatory documents for specific project types
  • How to enforce the use of templates for all types of documentation
  • How to introduce new documents at different project stages
  • How to publish reviewed and signed off documents
