David Roux David Roux
Chairman

Mr. Roux is a co-founder of Silver Lake and a Managing Director. He was formerly Chairman and CEO of Liberate Technologies. He worked previously at Oracle Corporation and Lotus Development. He began his technology career as a co-founder and CEO of Datext, Inc., the first commercial CD-ROM publishing company. Mr. Roux currently serves on the boards of Thomson, UGS, and Symantec Corporation, and is Chairman of the Board of Serena Software, Inc. Previously, he was a director of Business Objects, Gartner, Inc., and Chairman of the Board of Seagate Technology. He is a national trustee of Environmental Defense and an advisor to the Positive Coaching Alliance. David has an MBA from Harvard Business School and M.Phil. in Economics from King’s College at Cambridge University. He is a graduate of Harvard College.

   
 
John Joyce John Joyce

Mr. Joyce joined Silver Lake in July 2005 and is a Managing Director. He has significant experience in managing all aspects of finance and operations for a global technology firm. Mr. Joyce joined IBM in 1975, and was most recently Senior Vice President and Group Executive of the IBM Global Services (IGS) division, the world's largest information technology services and consulting provider. From 1999 to 2004, Mr. Joyce was IBM’s Chief Financial Officer, during which time he played a role in the sale of IBM’s personal computer business to Lenovo, marking one of the first major acquisitions of a U.S. company by a Chinese company, as well as in IBM’s acquisition of the global business consulting and technology services practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Joyce also managed IBM Global Financing. Prior to becoming CFO in 1999, he was President, IBM Asia Pacific, responsible for providing business direction and strategy for IBM's 19 country operations across the Asia/Pacific region, including China and India. Mr. Joyce also served as Vice President and Controller for IBM's global operations, and was part of the team responsible for the successful reengineering of IBM in the mid-1990s. Mr. Joyce is a director of Gartner, Inc., and Avago Technologies Ltd. He is also a member of each of Bertelsmann AG Supervisory Board, Fairfield University Board of Trustees, and Chairman of The Council for The United States and Italy.

   
 
Hollie Moore Hollie Moore
Director

Ms. Moore joined Silver Lake in 1999 and is a Director. She has significant experience evaluating, structuring, and executing large-scale private equity investments. Prior to Silver Lake, Ms. Moore was a principal at Hellman & Friedman L.L.C. ("H&F") where she focused on private equity investments in the media and telecommunications sectors. Prior to H&F, she worked as an investment banker in the Mergers & Acquisitions Department at Morgan Stanley & Co. Ms. Moore graduated from Harvard University with an A.B. in Economics and received an M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Director

Douglas D. Troxel is the founder of Serena Software and has served on Serena's Board of Directors since April 1980. From June 1980 to April 1997, Mr. Troxel served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Serena. Mr. Troxel holds a B.S. in mathematics from Iowa State University.

   
 
Elizabeth Hackenson Elizabeth Hackenson
Director

Elizabeth Hackenson is the Chief Information Officer for Alcatel-Lucent, and has responsibility for the oversight and operation of the company's information systems infrastructure, including global communications systems, corporate networks and e-business platforms.

Prior to joining Alcatel-Lucent in April of 2006, she held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer for MCI. In this position, she employed innovative approaches to create a business-focused IT organization, and developed, managed and maintained the company's supply chain systems. During her five years at MCI, Ms. Hackenson held several senior positions in the company's IT and supply chain organizations, leading various transformation projects, including the development of a centralized shared service model and a state-of-the-art customer self-service portal infrastructure.

Prior to MCI, she worked for UUNET for three years, where she managed the development of Internet products and for Concert Communication, where she was responsible for leading the development and deployment of the company's flagship voice product. She also has held IT management positions at EDS, Computech, TRW and Grumman & Sperry.

Ms. Hackenson holds a degree in data processing from New York State University.

Director

L. Dale Crandall most recently served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Kaiser Foundation Health Plan. Inc. and Kaiser Foundation Hospitals. Mr. Crandall joined Kaiser in 1998 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Kaiser, he served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of APL Limited and had 32 years of experience with PriceWaterhouse. At PriceWaterhouse, Mr. Crandall served as the Southern California Managing Partner and oversaw services provided to numerous clients, including Bank of California, Hewlett Packard, Chevron, and Disney.

 
Jeremy Burton Jeremy Burton
President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Burton brings 20 years in the high technology industry to Serena as president and CEO. Prior to joining Serena, Mr. Burton was group president of the enterprise security and data management business unit at Symantec. Mr. Burton was responsible for engineering, product management, alliances, and business development for Symantec’s endpoint security, compliance, archiving, Windows backup, security response, and managed security service offerings.

Mr. Burton joined Symantec through the company’s merger with VERITAS Software in July 2005. At VERITAS, he was executive vice president of the data management group. Previously, he served as the company's senior vice president and chief marketing officer.

Before joining VERITAS in April 2002, Mr. Burton served as senior vice president of product and services marketing at Oracle Corporation. He also founded Oracle's developer program, Oracle Technology Network, which today has millions of members. Before working in marketing, Mr. Burton held positions in customer support, pre-sales, product management, and engineering.

Mr. Burton graduated from the University of Surrey in Guildford, England in June 1990 with a bachelor's degree in information systems engineering. He and his wife, Ruth, have three children.
