Serena Acquires Projity for Leading Project Management
Serena is pleased to announce its acquisition of Projity — a provider of open source and on demand project management solutions. The Projity team has deep experience in building project management solutions over the past 5 years as well as the previous 10 years at other project management vendors including Scitor and WebProject. Projity recognized the need for alternatives to Microsoft Project for the professional project manager. With this acquisition, Serena Mariner for Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) will also get significantly enhanced by combining its existing strength in portfolio management with Projity's leading project management capabilities.
